Ball knobs are moulded in a black phenolic resin, which is very hard and provides a surface that is extremely difficult to mark or damage.
Ball knobs can be used where heat is present – up to 150°C.
They are designed primarily to provide a strong, protective cap for steel levers, particularly those used in the machine tool industry.
Ball knobs are available in a wide variety of sizes, with either metric or imperial internal threads.
Specific thread sizes can be moulded, but these may be subject to minimum order quantities.
